And I know better!

I have always heard, "Don't make any big decisions while you are pregnant...including any drastic changes to your hair." So, even though I was kind of ready for a little change, I told myself as I walked into the hair salon this morning, "nothing major or you'll regret it!" So, I told my girl, who is very nice but who I've only had one time before for a few highlights and a little trim, that I just wanted to go a little darker and maybe make it more of a blunt cut, b/c of all the layers I was feeling a little too shaggy. So, we agreed on a few low lights and to take the layers off to give it more of a clean look. I emphasized over and over, I don't want it too short b/c I still have about 3 more months to go until I'm due and I'm sure my face will continue to get more round, so a "bob" is NOT the look I'm going for! As I walked out of the salon almost THREE hours later, my only thought was, "I can't go home like this!" My hair seemed like a good length while wet, but once it was blown dry the look completely changed from clean and cute to BOB!!!!!!!!  My face is looking rounder by the minute! My only solution is to wear it up for the next 3 months and hope that it grows quickly thanks to my pre-natal vitamins.  I am definitely not posting a pic, I'm sure you can use your imagination.

Oh, and Samuel's comment about it was, "It looks funny, but I still like it."

At least he's honest :)
