I am having so much fun NESTING! When I was pregnant with Samuel, Kyle and his Dad were doing some major reconstruction to our house, so I didn't get to follow my urge to "nest", which seems to happen around this time in your pregnancy. Construction took a little longer than expected and we ended up moving out of our house the day before I went into labor and moved back in when Samuel was 6 months old! :) During that time we lived with both my parents and Kyle's parents. It was so great to have the extra help, but after 6 months we were definitely a little homesick.
But this time around, I get to NEST and I am going all out! I'm not just talking about Baby Noah's room (which I am having so much fun getting ready) but I feel the need to organize pretty much everything. If you walked in my house, one of your first thoughts probably wouldn't be "organized" and that is because I have been working on the little things that no one really notices, and I have been starting lots of little projects before fully finishing the previous one. For instance, right now it is midnight and both my boys are asleep, but not me, I have been organizing our medicine box. For some reason, I found great satisfaction in going through each bottle of pills or liquid and trashing the ones that have expired. Before that, organizing my hutch and finally putting away the Christmas dishes and Happy Birthday Jesus banner. Before that, my desk and Samuels closet, etc. etc. The list goes on and on, but I'll stop before I put you to sleep, which is probably what I should do. Samuel wakes up at the same early time each morning regardless of when Mommy goes to sleep. Sweet Dreams :)
